Memorial Day Flag Planting Event

And Memorial Day Celebration

Saturday prior to Memorial Day Elks Lodge 2379 volunteers prepare Hot Dogs, Chips, cookies, soda, and water for all the volunteers that place flags for all the Veterans interred at Eternal Valley Memorial Park & Mortuary. Here are some photos of the volunteers from the Elks Lodge, the participants in the flag placing ceremony, and winners of Hoop Shoot basketballs, and recipients of Elks Drug Awareness Program pamphlets.

CHEA Winning Ritual Team Santa Clarita Elks 2379

Our Officers competed in the Ritual Finals on Friday 5/19/2023 at the CHEA State Convention. They had the highest score as shown above in the Division round to move into the Finals. It was learned Saturday 5/20/2023 that they won the finals and now moving forward to Minneapolis for Grand Lodge.

Our team had five All State performers, Glenn Daniel, Exalted Ruler, Wayne Edward, Leading Knight, Scott Bickle, Lecturing Knight, Jay Larkins, Esquire, Ilia Piedra, Inner Guard.

On Saturday 6/24/2023 the Santa Clarita Elks Lodge 2379 will be gathering for a pregame tailgate at Bravery Brewery that will offer pizzas, charcuterie and craft beers at 3 PM. Moving to The Hanger in Lancaster for a 6:35 PM start to watch the Vallejo Seaweed being hosted by the Lancaster Sound Breakers. Tickets are $10 each and proceeds will benefit the ENF.
